Scarpe was founded in 1962 under the original name Caprice, born from a deep passion for the art of handwoven leather craftsmanship. The brand’s founder honed this rare skill at a young age, learning directly from master Italian and Armenian artisans. With dedication to quality and tradition, the brand quickly became a pioneer in the MENA region: the very first to introduce handwoven leather goods, and still one of the few to uphold this legacy today.

In 2018, the brand entered a new era, rebranding as Scarpe, a name that honors its artisanal roots while embracing a modern identity. Despite the shift, the heart of the brand remains unchanged. Every product is entirely handmade, using only the finest leathers and materials, with a commitment to timeless design and meticulous detail.

For over 60 years, Scarpe has stood for authenticity, craftsmanship, and quiet luxury. While the world moves toward fast fashion and mass production, Scarpe continues to walk its own path, woven with heritage, pride, and purpose.
